Ifu is a weird-ass kid from Chi-Town whose passions include software development and practicing Shaolin kung fu (Chicago Shaolin Temple, holla!) She's a MakerSquare alumna and currently works as a software engineering apprentice at DevMynd Software in Chicago. [English Teacher] Taught English to two classes of 30 adults. Developed a curriculum that quickly became popular amongst students. Said curriculum had a strong focus on mastering the basics of English grammar.
[English Teacher] Taught English to 15 children between the ages of 3 and 4. Developed game-based lesson plans. Collaborated with other teachers to develop a school-wide activity that taught students about foreign cultures.
[Copywriting Intern] Responsible for writing copy, the development of marketing strategy, conducting market research, and the promotion of Monogram using social networking tools such as Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook.
[B.A., Philosophy] Conducted research projects in the role of supermassive black holes in galaxy formation, the philosophy of the Special Theory of Relativity, and theories of mathematical truth.
Technologies I will be working with in the next couple months include: DataMapper ORM, Angular, Backbone, Sass, and Node, as well as the process of pushing to OpenShift. I have previous experience programming in C, C++, and Java.
